Have Luxury car brands faced loss in year 2020?

Luxury cars dealership have submitted their report of the year 2020 in November month. The sales, however was expected to fall, but it was never estimated to fall by this margin. Let’s start with the month of November.
Below is the sales analysis report of the Top 10 Luxury Car Brands in India.

From the above table let’s see what we have noticed.
- Lamborghini was the only brand which gained 3+ unit sales in the month of Nov20 as compared to Nov19.
- VW Audi on the other hand performed better than BMW and Mercedes in terms of growth, but yet again have sold lesser units as compared to them.
- The Tata’s JLR has also suffered a great downfall in it’s sales for the month of Nov20, as compared to Volvo and Porsche, which had seen a slightly lesser fall in their growth.
- Ferrari and Rolls Royce have seen similar downfall in this particular month and are hoping for better growth in 2021.
- Bentley has gone with zero sales in the month of Nov20 which has made it perform worst than all in this month.

Now in the month of December their are some note-able changes like:-
- Bentley showed better sales growth than other brands here and showed their class as always.
- Mercedes, BMW and Audi have shown more steeper fall in their growth again in the month of Dec20.
- JLR, Volvo and Porsche too faced similar downfall but not steep, resulting in fair unit sales.
- Lamborghini in the month of Dec20 showed a 50% fall compared to previous year’s stats, if compared to Nov20 month the company sold 3 lesser units of it’s cars.
- Ferrari sold only 1 unit of it’s car in Dec20 and the growth cannot be determined on those grounds.
- Rolls Royce got back on their track in Dec20 and now are focusing for more sales in the upcoming years.
